Mike,

My husband and I are big fans of your show!!! We have your show dvr'd and we were watching the show with the PMTT on the St. Croix and he saw your hoodie with "Slime Time" on the back. Unfortunately you only offer 2xl. Will you be offering 3xl in the future or is this something we could order. My husband loves that!!! Please let us know.

Thanks and catcha bigun'!

Mike,

Thanks for the update, I appreciate it. I just want to tell you that I am a diehard muskie fisherman and I love your show. You guys do an awesome job and put all other fishing shows to shame. I gotta tell you, you have to do a show on Pewaukee Lake sometime. If you go end of May through August you can have some incredible fishing out there. I've been fishing Pewaukee almost exclusively for the past 3 years and we have had over 10 fish days and that really isn't that uncommon. Late May through August the fish are going on cowgirls like no other. In fact I pinned a nice 46 incher out there at 6:30 AM for the opener on double 10's.

It's about to get really hot out here in a couple weeks so you guys should look into making a trip one of these days. Last year quite a few 50's were caught however I wasn’t one of the lucky ones. There are some real pigs out here!

Anyways, keep up the good work and maybe I'll see you on Pewaukee one of these days!

Stick a pig!

Heeeeeeeeeeey Mike! Dude man love the show!!!!!!!!!!!!! By far the best musky fishing television show out there! I love this fish! Gotta applaud the fellow Wisconsinite for doing what he loves for the big screen (from mukwonago, wis), except I've relocated to Forest Lake, MN. Can't complain about the fishing here, it is amazing! My message here is to ask to open up some more videos of yours for download!
Dawg'n the Deep 2, isn't available as of yet and I'm super pumped to get on the water to pound the water for muskellunge. Releasing more videos as well would be sweet! Watching your shows here is getting amped up for this coming season. Just a recommendation, if your allowed.

big fan,
Matt

Mike, first of all, I love the show. I consider it the best muskie show on the air. I wanted to know what brand of line do you use for muskies and what are the best knots for attaching the leader?

P.S. Maybe I'll run into you guys in northern Wisconsin someday, I live in Appleton. If I ever do, I'll buy you a cold one!

Hey Mike,

First off I have to say that I am a HUGE fan of the show. When I was at the Minnesota Muskie Expo, I was talking with Todd and he said you guys wanted to fish Lake Waconia sometime. I know I gave him some info on the lake, but if you guys ever decide to fish it I would be glad to give you any info I can about fishing there. I fish this lake all the time since it is only 10 minutes from my house.

Have a great 2010 season!

Chris Grems

Hi Mike,

Saw you at George's Musky Expo this past weekend and also enjoy watching Keye's Outdoors. I'm a new guy to musky fishing and have not yet caught my 1st monster. One hit, One miss and 3 follows on Lake of the Woods by what was estimated to be a 50+ incher. Still trying.

As a new guy to musky fishing I am always looking for tips, ideas and basic info so that I can finally catch that trophy. I'm sure there are a lot more of us novices watching your show. Any plans to add a New to Musky Fishing Basics segment? Just thought I would ask...we could all use some SLIME TIME!!!

Thanks for your consideration.....

Mike,

It's great to be able to download episodes vs. streaming. Can you make some back episodes available for download? Just the musky fishing episodes will do for me.

Looking forward to episode #2 in "central Minnesota."

Keep the shows with Jason coming.

I just wanted to share a picture of my personal best Musky that I caught this past Sunday, 47” (I’m only guessing) but I would have to say it was 30+ lbs on a figure 8, I caught it on Pewaukee lake in Waukesha county, this lake is filled with big musky’s and I finally hooked up with one, I watch your show religiously, in my mind It’s one of the best musky fishing shows on T.V. and because of your show, I like to think it is the fuel that drives my passion for catching big musky’s, I just hope you guys can continue on producing what I think is one of the finest musky fishing shows on TV, Oh ya one more thing, please thank Brad Hoppe for me for coming up with what I believe is one of the best baits I have ever thrown, the double cowgirl, that is the lure that I was using when I caught that slob, I have had more big fish follow and eat that lure than anything else in my box, I know I’m a believer, anyway keep up the good work and I can’t wait for the up coming season of Keyes outdoors.

Thanks and tight lines

Hey mike, I saw one of your shows on FSN the other day when you were fishing muskies at night during the full moon. I think I am going to try out muskie fishing this summer and I was wondering if you ever fish any metro area lakes? Like Minnetonka or Lake Waconia? I am from around there. Just seeing if they are good muskie lakes.

I sure enjoyed the great show on jigging for lakers on Lake Superior.

I saw that you used stinger hooks and pieces of herring….but I did not catch the name of the jigs.
I would like to try that combination this summer on a few Canadian lakes!

Will be watching next Saturday.

Mike,

The March 1 show was awesome. Those 'eyes were fantastic. I primarily fish Northeastern Wisconsin in Oconto County, Marinette County - Oconto River and in the Bay. I would like to expand to areas in Central and Northwest Wisconsin. Is it possible to give me the name of the lake you were on for the walleys? If not thats ok too I will just have to do some more searching myself. Keep up the good work.

Hey Mike,

I have been watching your show all season and I am a big fan! The way you guys present the show "so high energy" makes it fun to watch.

What type of musky rods did you guys use on last weeks show? I remember you said they were 9 feet I think. I looked on the internet and couldn't find them.

Thanks

Hey Mike,

First of all, love your show and looked forward to watching it every week.
Can't wait till your back on the air.

Just wanted to know if you have DVDs/recordings available in regards to your episodes. I am particularly interested in your Mille Lacs Muskie trips. I got to see 2 or 3 of them and they were awesome! How can I get my hands on these? My wife and I bought a lot on Mille Lacs and hope to build our home there some day. I enjoyed your show so much, I recorded some of them while I was gone (typically while I was at National Guard training on weekends, etc). I am the Commander at the Marshall, MN unit and have had to put in some extra time with training, etc so my weekends have been busy. We were deployed to Iraq and since coming back, we have had to put in extra time to get back into the swing of things; plus, I work full-time for the Army National Guard and weekends are often dedicated to work. I missed some of the Mille Lacs shows and want to watch all of them. Besides my family, the thing I missed most while in Iraq was fishing.

Let me know on the availability and keep up the great work.

Hi Mike,

I'm just writing to tell you how much I enjoy your show on FSN. I live in the northeast part of the state, but I'm stuck here in La Crosse going to college. Your show is the only thing satisfying my Musky addiction while I'm here at school, because Musky waters are pretty much nonexistent down here. I rarely miss any of the episodes. So next time you go out Musky fishing, remember you're fishing for us college guys that can't get out to chase the old esox. Thanks again and keep up the good work man!

Mike and Steve,

After watching another great episode today, I had to drop you guy's a note and tell you how great the shows have been this year. The quality of the fish and information provided is top notch!

If I see another fat 50 inch fish from Mille Lacs I might pee myself. LOL Where the heck were all those fish last year when I was over there! Anyway, from one avid musky nut to another you guy's had some truly awesome shows this season and you're hard work is much appreciated and enjoyed!

Best of luck during the PMTT season and looking forward to next seasons shows already!

Mike, sorry I missed you at the Milwaukee show this spring.

Have a great summer!

Ed

P.S. What lake were you on when Todd nailed his 51 on a cow girl? If that's top secret....
I understand. :o)

Good morning Mike,

I just watched your show this morning on musky fishing in Green Bay, WI. I worked for many years with a Marlin Keyes, Sheboygan, WI. Are you any relation?

Great show by the way! It was nice to see a show where a couple of guys are fishing in an average guy’s setting. There aren’t too many opportunities to motor troll muskies in WI, and I never even thought of trying in the Bay…I think I’ll give it a try this fall.

By the way, what is the logic to trolling with the rod tips in the water? I’ve done a lot of trolling and never saw that type of strategy before.

Thanks!
Bob

Hello Mike,

I know you meet a ton of people during the "show" season. I had the pleasure of talking to you and sampling your Wildlife drink at the Milwaukee show back in Feb.

I have a couple of questions for you.

I am not finding the wildlife energy drink in the southeastern part of Wisconsin. Any sugestions??

Also I watched the Fox River Trolling episode this weekend and was wondering if you could tell me at what depths you were trolling in. My wife wants to try it (along with me) this coming fall. It would be something she could keep warm doing at that time of year.

Any help you could offer me would be greatly appreciated.

Keep up the great shows!!

Mike,

I really enjoyed your show this morning which featured Musky fishing on the fox river in Green Bay, WI. Could you tell me what type of boat you were using? I really liked the layout. The motor appeared to be powered by a foreign tiller. What kind of motor was it? Just curious. Keep up the great work.

Dear Mr. Keyes and crew,
This is Adam Anderson, David Slater, and Gregg Bader. We love your fishing show and admire you greatly. We are seniors at Jefferson High School and we are avid fisherman. We signed up for a new class at Jefferson called senior project. Because of our love for fishing, our project is to create a fishing show. We are supposed to have a "mentor". Somebody who could offer us advice and help us out with our project. We all pooled our minds together and were wondering, since you have the best fishing show ever, if you would be interested in offering us your advice? It would be greatly appreciated and I am sure our show would improve drastically with your advice. Thank you for your time and we hope to hear back from you soon.

Sincerely,

Subject: Nice show!

Well done on last weeks show, Cave Run lake. It was interesting watching the different techniques used to produce fish along with the different locations. Very similar to what we go through here to produce fish.

I do most of my fishing for Musky and other species on the upper Mississippi river from St Cloud to Brainerd. It's a real unique fishery with a reputation as a world class smallie fishery. If you guys are looking for different ideas for a new show, maybe consider this area. I would be more than happy to show you around and of course put some fish in the boat. That's usually not a problem.

Mike,Just a quick note to let you know how much I enjoy your show.  Nice to see a show I can relate to, along with hunting/fishing in areas that I can actually go to.   You can only watch so many of the elite type "big dollar" hunts before you get fed up with their complaining about "management bucks" that I consider trophy deer.  Also love the musky coverage.  Not enough of it on TV right now.  I think you got in at the right time with PMTT.  Congrats and keep up the great work.
